Joseph Cunningham papers 1918

The collection consists of correspondence from Joseph Cunningham, a soldier who served in the First World War, to his family in Brooklyn. Cunningham, a member of an American artillery unit stationed in France, describes his wartime experiences in the letters. Several letters are to his brother, WIlliam Cunningham, a military officer, and there are three letters from his mother and father.
